Linda is a caring, conscientious and compassionate Attorney, CPA, with the ideal combination of professional endeavors and personal attributes to work with clients regarding their estate and trust planning administration matters, including Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, and other estate planning documents. During those often difficult times of dealing with end of life issues, or helping with the probate and trust administration of the estate of a loved one, Linda’s gentle spirit, yet tenacious and detailed approach adds a personal element that helps to put her clients at ease. Linda’s focus is on attempting to keep peace in the family rather than a sole focus on the assets during an oft very emotionally challenging time. Linda views the documents she drafts as something that should be as flexible and detailed as possible, since life is often uncertain. The planning we do today is a legacy we leave for our future generations and should provide an efficient transition of estate assets.

Linda Lysne's membership of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), South Sound Planned Giving Council as well as the Real Property, Probate, and Trust and Elder Law Sections of the WSBA, as well as having been involved with the Health Care Providers Council, Professional Advisory Board of the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation and as former member of the Tacoma Community College Paralegal Advisory Committee, has helped broaden her knowledge and experience. She has spoken to groups of lawyers, accountants and certified financial planners and various other professional and interest groups, as well as to the general public. Ms. Lysne’s practice emphasizes estate planning, including trusts, probate administration, Medicaid planning, elder law, business and taxation associated with these areas of law.

Our relationship started with a family Will for my husband and I. We were so pleased with her professioalism that when a friend needed a Will we suggested that she see Linda. As it turned out I became my friend's Trustee and a few months later my friend passed. That was when we found out that the bank failed to complete the transfer of her accounts to a Trust. The manager of the bank came to my friend's home to set everything up. We were told it was completed only to find out the manager went on leave and the papers were not finished.
